The Emperor

In shortStructure and clear rules would fix this.

Upright

What this needs is order. The Emperor is about the boring scaffolding that makes energy useful: a schedule, a boundary, a written agreement, someone clearly in charge of deciding. Where he turns up, the mess is costing you more than the rules would. The move is to define how this works — including the rules you set for yourself and then actually keep.

Reversed

Either the structure has become a cage, or it has fallen apart completely. This is control for its own sake, or someone in authority who has confused being obeyed with being respected. It is also the opposite: nobody holding the line, nothing followed through, a situation drifting because no one will just decide. It can point to unfinished business with a parent or a boss.

In the pictureHis throne is stone, carved with rams' heads for Aries — hard, fixed, immovable. He wears armour under his robe: still ready for conflict even while ruling. The barren mountains behind him show the cost of pure structure; nothing grows there.

The turn

Write the rule down and hold it for a week. Structure you renegotiate daily is not structure.
